Morning Well Spent!!

I know that everyone is probably ready for me to stop posting about our days out on the lake. It seems like that is all we do anymore, but the truth is we go early in the morning and then get home by lunch time to get all our chores done.

The boys out on the wake board!!! We don't have a wake board small enough for Braxten so he goes out with his Dad, which I think her prefers.

We saw this a lot when Dave was out behind the boat. I laughed so hard. We put more air in the tube today before we went out, and it made it tip so much easier. I had a really good face plant, but of coarse we didn't get it on film.

This is the best video that we got of me today. The first time that I went out I had much better pulls, but this is what we got!!!! This is why we go to the lake everyday, it's because I need a lot of improvement.

Twins??????

We went to dinner last night and this is what the boys wore!!!! Braxten has been telling us to take him to the Hibachi, he promised that he would eat Salmon!!!!!! Well we went last night finally, and he ate that Salmon up. I can't believe that he eats nothing, but chicken and fish, out of all the things that a kid would eat, that is what he chooses. He also chose to eat broccoli, shrimp, and lobster. He really liked the lobster, we wants to go home and try it again. He only likes the finer things in life. Oh well what ever makes him happy!!!!

Jumping the Wake!!!

Well of course we spent another week at the lake. Any spare time that we've had we have spent it at the lake.

Justin Jumping the Wake.

I kind of chopped his head off, but you get the picture.

Here's me about to jump, but I don't have any pictures to show me jumping, I have to teach Justin how to get the right photo.

Braxten and Justin on the tube. Braxten loves being out there with his Dad, they sit and laugh the whole time, it's great!!!!

Well he did it this week, he got up the nerve to ski behind the boat. He loved it!!!! He started to do tricks and that's how he fell. Last week we wouldn't get up behind the boat, and this time he is doing tricks!!!! Go figure!!!

Day at the Lake, Or Days!!!!!

We went out on the boat a lot this past week and had a lot of fun. Here are some fun pictures of us hanging out on the boat.
Here is Braxten flashing all his gang signs. We got little skis to teach Braxten how to ski, but it freaked him out so he ended up not getting up, but this is him back there with his Dad attempting to try it.
Since I don't know how to drive a boat yet, Justin's Dad has been out with us all week so that we had someone else out there to drive. He has been such a tropper, but here he is getting a break and having a good time.

New Boat

Well for the last five years each summer Justin and I have said next summer we'll get a boat. This summer came and almost went, but Justin wouldn't have and so we finally broke down and got a boat. I really wanted a red one, because they are so pretty, but we ended up getting this yellow, black and white one to match Justin's truck. I know that that sounds like a joke, but it's not Justin really wanted a boat that matched his truck. We have gotten a lot of comments on it as well, Hey is Window Works hiring, that's my kind of work!!!!! We also got comments like business must be slow.

Isnt' she lovely!!!!! We got this last Saturday and have been out 4 out of the five days so far this week. The past two mornings we have gotten up really early to and now we are dead.

Memory Tag

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Thanks!

Happy Belated Birthday!!!!!

Before Braxten got here this summer he turned 8. Happy Birthday Braxten!!!!!! Last night we had a small birthday party with some of his friends here in Texas, it was the best Pirate party ever!!!!! We had hot dogs, drinks, and of course cake, or should I say cupcakes. Justin built a plank for the kids to walk on and they all loved. It was a great time and he got some really cool stuff!!

The Fourth Of July!!!

We had a great fourth of July. We went up to a family Reunion in Oklahoma. Although it was really hot, we still had a great time. There isn't a whole lot of room up there for people to stay, so Justin and I borrowed some friends camping trailer. We made the slow and expense trip up to Oklahoma, 5.6 miles to the gallon, and had a great time. Braxten got to meet a lot of cousins he didn't even know he had and had a great time with all of them.

We all got to ride in the Fire Truck, that is Justin riding shotgun. It was so cool, my cousin's husband is a fire man and so he took us all for a ride.

Braxten was in the town parade with all of his new cousins, and they all had red and blue hair.
That night we went to the fireworks concert and the kids caught guitar pics. They thought that was so cool!!!

These are the professional fireworks!!!!

Then the next night we had our own fireworks show, it was amazing. Justin and the boys lite off a done of fireworks, and had blast doing it, literally!! While they were getting ready they let the kids play with sparklers. Later the kids also got to light off some roman candles and they thought that this we the best thing ever.

This is the aftermath photo.
This video doesn't even do Justin's fireworks justice, his were amazing and almost just as good as the ones done by the professionals!!!!

Six Flags!!!!

Braxten and I went to Six Flags last week with my cousin and his family.

I knew that this would be a bad idea, so before they even came I decided to opt out so that I wouldn't be wasting the money. I knew that the kids would be to little to ride stuff and that Braxten wouldn't ride anything, he can be a big chicken sometimes.
So the night before we they were going, my cousin asked if we were going and I told him no, he was bummed that none of us would be going out there with him, so I went. I haven't seen my cousin in probably 6 years and that was at my grandpa's funeral so it wasn't really on good terms. The whole day was a BUST, I can't decide if it was a waste of money on Braxten's part because we only rode the things that he wasn't afraid to do, or on my part because I only got to ride one cool ride????
I think if Justin had been there it would have been a different story, but oh well.
At least it wore him out!!!!!!!!
