My not so girly girl!!

So this is how the nail clipping began, and after one nail......

She threw herself on the floor and did this.

I gave the kids powder donuts the other morning, and here is Brody savoring his bite

so proud of himself that he did it all by himself.

Brooklyn on the other hand, shoved it all in her mouth.

To prove she does like some girly things, I think she is going to be a shopper like her momma.

the weather is nice, so off to the park

We had such a nice afternoon at the park. We meet up with our cousins and had so much fun. Brooklyn loves the slide and she has learned how to conquer most of the park, no more talking and catching up at the park anymore. Brooklyn wouldn't sit still for a photo, but Brody wouldn't get out of the swing. He loved watching everyone walk by and pointing out all the animals.

Finally getting Brooklyn to sit, but refusing to look at me. She was a big girl and wanted nothing to do with her momma at the park today, everyone but me. Her cousin Kate loved having company in the wagon.

as he hears any type of beat. It doesn't matter what the tune is or what style of music, except country he doesn't care for that too much.

birthday babies

These two were not afraid to dive in and get started on something sweet. I know that the cakes are bright and colorful but don't be alarmed they didn't consume much!!! It was so fun to celebrate with all most of our family and some friends. Being One is great for me, I feel like we have so much freedom.

Happy New Year

Well I never got around to a christmas card or a new years card, so Merry Christmas and happy New year. Poor braxten right when we got there to take pictures he got sick and so he thought he felt better so we started to take pictures, only for him to throw up two more times, so he doesn't look well, we probably should have rescheduled the shoot, but I was trying to get christmas cards sent out so I was being selfish. I was hoping for a better pic, but none the less this is what we got, I think I look good!!!!! anyways hope everyone had an amazing christmas and fun with their families like we did.

It's Been a Year

I can't believe that the time has flown by, or maybe the last few months have, but my babies are 1 today!!! I can't believe it. They have gotten so big and love life. They are pretty happy babies all the time, unless Brody is hungry he gets mean, just like his dad. I'm so grateful for the joy and happiness they have brought into our lives. I'll post more late I just wanted to give them a shout out!

Pure joy they had so much fun, and I'm glad that I have such a creative husband, and he loves to play with his kids.

Meet the Flinestones!!!

We always go all out for Halloween it really is one of our favorite holidays. This year we went as the Flinestones, with the neighbor kid Bam-Bam!! Of course they didn't get the idea of the costumes or trick or treating, but it was fun for me.

Two of the cutest bats I know stopped by to say hi, and hang out for a bit before meeting up with some of their friends. They didn't stick around for the haunted house though, that post is coming soon.

From Pumpkin Buns to Pumpkin Patch

So as a mom I felt required to take the kids to the Pumpkin patch this year. Justin went out of town and i knew that this wouldn't be one of his favorite things to go do. He HATES picture taken and thinks that I'm torturing the kids by taking pics of them. So I called up all the cousins and had them all come out to come play at the patch. the kids were great and Brody loved talking pictures he does so much better with an actual camera than the my usual camera phone. I'm so used to not using a camera I forgot to charge the battery, so i crossed my fingers that it would do a good power charge on the way there, and it was a success.

So all the pictures are my favorite so I couldn't choose so you get to see them all!
