Dominican Republic Here we come!!!!!

Yes you read this right we went to the DR this past February. One of Justin's lighting suppliers had an incentives that if you sell enough product they give you a trip to wherever they are going that year. This past year, Justin, me and his brother Ryan all went. We stayed at am all inclusive resort, we ate lost of food, lied on the beach, and went out on the buggy buggy cars.
There was so much dust on our tour that they told us to wear this bandannas so that we could still breathe.
The first of the tour was on the road. That's right the ROAD/Highway. It was so funny that things like this can fly. Along with us being aloud on the road so is livestock, if you look closely you can see brown spots is tried horse patties. So the whole time that we were on our tour we had to dodge poo. If you ran it over it would fling poo back at us, it was so gross!!!!! One lady hosed her husband, all up his arm and all oer his shirt, I told Justin if he did that to me I would throw up on his lap. The cars themselves were far more exciting than the actual tour, or coffee and sugar and a really lame flea market, but we had a great time and made some new friends.
Good thing we got the bandannas huh!!!!!!

So after the buggy buggy cars we headed to the beach, and saw this
Oh baby this was a sight!!!!!! He was out there every day in his tiny little swim suit and it just made me laugh every time.
The guys didn't enjoy the view as much so they headed out for some kayak surfing and had a good time. Thanks DR for such a great time, I loved the break, but it was so humid as gross down there that my feet were swollen the whole time and I could only wear one of the pair of flip flops that I brought, but it was fantastic.

Cowboys Playoffs!!!

This is how far behind I am on posting events in our lives!!!! At the beginning of the year Justin and I went to our first playoff game. It was so much fun. There was so much energy in the stadium that it made the whole thing completely different. They won, but as we know they didn't make it all the way, but here's to this year. Go Cowboys!!!!!

Cravings!!

Last night my husband really wanted to get out of the house and take a drive on his new toy, a golf cart, I'll post about that later, so he tried to bribe me with ice cream to get me off the couch. I said no thanks I'm good I don't really feel good. His comment to me was you MUST be really sick to deny ice cream twice in one night. I hope that he gets it a little more that I'm not just trying to get out of house work, I really don't feel good some days.

Update!!!!

Blogging is hard to keep up with. I don't feel like I'm ever doing anything blog worthy, and we NEVER take the camera anywhere. Braxten has come and gone this summer. I had so much fun with him this year. He is growing up so fast and it makes me a little sad. He doesn't just miss his mom anymore when he comes out he is starting to miss his friends, which just makes me think he is getting to old. Braxten has such an imagination, and loves to build. He builds legos and makes new worlds and skate parks and his mind just keeps going, he is so smart. We got to spend a lot of time together this summer. The first two weeks he was here, his cousin came out with him from Utah, and his grandparents and aunt. It was so much fun having everyone here, and playing and I think Braxten really liked having his cousin on his turf for a change. They were XBOX junkies anytime they weren't in the pool or on the lake, so I thought that it was going to be a long summer, because I'm to old to watch them play because it makes me sick. But after he went home Braxten did a lot more lego building and so forth. Justin had to work A LOT this summer because about two weeks into Braxten being here his lead guy quit so he had to go install lights everyday, instead of just line the guys out. So there was a lot of time with just B and I, but I loved it, except shower time and teeth brushing time!! Braxten's new love this summer was Six Flags, he loves roller coasters. Last time we went he wouldn't ride anything and this summer he went twice and all he rode was the adult rides, no kiddie rides this year. I think his dad going with him helped him be a little tougher this year, but he still loved it. Justin on the other hand gets motion sickness on them and it hurts his back. I told B next time I would go and we would leave the old man at home. Which brings me to our next exciting news of the summer. After six and half long years of trying to get pregnant our prayers have been answered and we are having TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so happy and a little overwhelmed, but can't wait to welcome our new members to the family. I can't wait to find out what we are having. My due date is Feb.3rd but we will most likely have them the first of the year. So if you've just done the math in your head I'm 3 months along and counting down until they come. Everything is going good, but there was a little bit of a scare at first so the is why I have waited to long to post. I'm so thankful to be able to have had the journey that we've been on to have children. I don't wish it upon anyone, but it brings you closer as a family and that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Baby A was in a much better spot than B but in both videos you can see the heart beats!!! It's so cool, I can't get over the fact that TWO are coming. We of course want healthy babies and that's all we ask for, but I'm also hoping that it's one of each!!!!! We'll see!

Christmas!!!

I know I Know I said I was WAY behind!!!! So Braxten was able to join us this year the day after Christmas. we tried so hard to make it really special for him as always. This year we went all out and got him a new Honda 70 and all the gear to go with it. He is a natural. He didn't hesitate one bit, it was so cool to see him in action.

We had him open each piece of his gear up first, without seeing the bike, but he was way to smart for us and figured it out after the first present. Last year he rode this little 4x4 while he was here and we kept telling that is what all the gear is for, but he didn't believe us. So I told Justin to take the trash out, then asked B to help him, and low and behold that was his bike.

He's a Cool Rider, He's A Cool Cool Rider!! Name that Movie?????

Rider Number 9!!!!!

So Behind!!!

I'm so behind on posting I gave up for a while. So I decided that I needed to get myself caught up so here are a few to start off.

We went to a Christmas party this year that was 80's theme. We had so much FUN!!! I love the 80's the music the dress it was great. Justin decided to dress 70's, because lets just face it 70's dress is so much cooler for guys than the ladies. He had on like 4" platform shoes on, it was so funny and by the end of the night he now knows how I feel when I wear heels all night. This is the best picture that I have, so please excuse my top messed up and not the full view, but you get the idea!
This was by far the best outfit ever!!! He had on 4" platform silver glitter boots, it was great, I love a good costume party. Always invite me I'll play along!!!

STUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm so behind on my blogging I don't even know when this happened, but it was a fun filled evening. Justin's cousin called and asked us to come help him to get out of the mud. Justin hesitated because he didn't want to drive across town and by the time we got there, they would be unstuck. Well let me tell you that was NOT the problem. We arrived on scene to this...

One very stuck truck and one very confused dog!!!
Then we did a little of this and that and got no were fast.

So we decided to try at a different angle, and that is what lead us to this.
Two very stuck trucks and one very confused dog still. After getting to trucks stuck beyond movement we decided to bring in the big guns.
This made the big boys happy and one little boy VERY happy, Cash, who is two, wouldn't leave the cab of the CAT even when they were trying to figure out what the next move was. If you look closely you can see him standing in the window. After a lot of hard work and probably three hours of trying, we got them out. Only to do this.....

Oops!!!!!
So getting this stuck lead to calling the tow truck, but not just any tow truck the biggest of them all.
This had to put down leg support things and use all it's might to pull this skeedster out, but we did succeed and it only took about 4 1/2 hours to get everything unstuck. While this was all going on me and the kids were watching Elf in the truck waiting patiently to go to dinner, we were some very hungry folks when this all ended, and dirty.

This doesn't do it a lot of justice, but this hole was deep. Well thanks for the fun filled evening Andy, when can we do it again???
